Worked with project teams converting legacy Utility Customer Information
Systems (CIS) to SCT's Oracle-based CIS (Banner). Involved from mid-conversion
and customization phases thru go-live, stabilization and maintenance phases.
My tasks included:
· Analyze, fix and/or report software bugs in C and Cobol programs
with embedded SQL
· Modify custom processes to be more robust for production.
· Conduct training sessions and write documentation for utility support
staff to take over on-call production support at completion of the conversion
projects.
· Provide on-call support for batch problems and develop/modify processes
for continuous improvement.
